Lisa Sipes, Quilting Artist

Location: Colby, KS

Quilting Experience: 5 years

Quilting Tips: Don't take things too seriously.  Have fun with your quilting and be willing to fail.  You'll never know what you're capable of until you try it.  So let loose, take a chance and open your eyes to the possibilities!

Lisa is a self taught, award winning quilter whose work has been seen in several books, magazines, television series, competitions and exhibits world-wide.  She entered the quilting world in November of 2008 somewhat by accident and never looked back.  She learned to longarm machine quilt for others before making her first pieced quilt top. Her specialty is making beautiful, heirloom quilts out of poorly pieced, "problem" quilt tops. Lisa loves to encourage and inspire, and remind all quilters that the main objective of quilting is to have FUN! You can follow Lisa's needle adventures at: thatcrazyquiltygirl.blogspot.com
