New to longarm quilting...or just curious to learn about it? We offer a class that's just for you!
Taught by experienced quilter, Vivian Collins, this one day class is designed for the beginner, new owner, or anyone who would like to gain some experience on a longarm quilting machine. Vivian has been quilting for over 25 years and has been teaching quilting techniques for 12 years.
Students will make a wholecloth sampler employing the following techniques:
* Set-in border
* Set-in triangles
* Stitch-in-the-ditch using the extended throat plate and Gam-Guide Jr.
* Freehand background fillers
* Freehand border
* Stencil work using pounce pad
* Borders using rulers and gadgets
Course fee is $65.00
